Prathyusha Institute of Technology and Management, popularly known as PITAM is situated on Chennai-Thiruvallur High Road, 30 km. away from Chennai Central Railway Station. The college was established to promote Engineering education for students not only from in and around Thiruvallur district, but from various districts in Tamil Nadu and from neighboring states also.
This Elysium of education is the vision of the Founder Chairman Shri P. Raja Rao, the Edupreneur Awardee, to bring world-class education into this sylvan campus. The majestic portal with its colossal buildings with spacious class-rooms and smart rooms, the laboratories fulfilling Anna University Requirement, Incubation Centers for Research, well furnished separate hostels for boys and girls with its hygienic food and hi-fi gym and parlor facilities, is a landmark in the panorama of Engineering Colleges. 40 and more buses fetch students from the whole length and breadth of the city to the college with comfort and safety.
The qualified, dedicated and sincere teaching faculty members assisted by skilled technicians inculcate both theoretical and practical knowledge in the students. The engineering education is enhanced and honed by the regular training and internship programmes. The research skills are tapped and pruned by motivating and encouraging the students to participate in National and International seminars, symposia and conferences.
100% placement is assured by in-house training programmes and Industry Institution tie-ups. Global education is imparted through MoUs with Universities abroad. Extracurricular activities to increase the physical and spiritual strength of the students are provided by sports, NSS and YRC activities. The overall and wholesome growth of a scholar is assured in the campus of PITAM.
